Artwork: Color Blind Series
This series explored my own experience with color blindness. There are 20, 17" x 54" pieces designed on giant paint strips. Each strip was chosen for its very ambiguous color name...like Jazz Ensemble... what color is that anyway?

Color Blind Design:

Each piece represents a different aspect or personal story relating to my own experiences with color blindness. During the show I had visitors view the works while wearing 3D glasses with a red and a blue lens. They are not stereoscopic pieces, but it enabled the viewer to get a sense of being deprived of normal color vision. "Ooooo," you might say. And you would be right.
